Sandrine Holt (born Sandrine ho) was born on November 19, 1972, in London. Her parents are a Chinese man and an French woman. At the age of five she moved to Toronto, Canada, and has considered it her home since then. Prior to becoming an actress, she was a Paris catwalk model. In the 1991 film Black Robe, she made her debut in film as Annuka. The role she played in the film was selected for nomination for her for the Genie Award (Canadian Oscar). Holt's career began with appearances on TV as guest stars and in smaller films. Holt then took the lead role in Hostages, in 2013, and an supporting role as the Netflix's House of Cards. The actress played Julie Han in the US remake of The Returned in 2015 and was cast as the character Dr. Bethany Exner cast.
